Our journey from Russia to China took close to 2 months as we enjoyed travelling slowly, taking the time to discover the countries we passed by on the way. This exhibition is covering the first part of our trip and is taking you from the famous St Petersburg to Slydyanka, a small town on the shores of Baikal lake. As we crossed Russia, we were able to discover different facets of this country and experience the Russian hospitality. Our Couchsurfing hosts Maria, Misha and Anton, as well as the random encounters we had on the train with Valentin and his military camarades, Vassili, the retired boxer who was so proud of his grandchildren, etc., made the journey very special for us and their stories gleaned thanks to GoogleTranslate will forever stay in our heart.
